Church Youth Group Service Projects

During the past two years the Dubois Rams have featured a wide-open offense guided by the quick feet and accurate arm of Kurt Leseberg, who led them to their third appearance in the 1A 6-Man state championship football game in the last four years. Built on the lean side at 5’11”, 125-pounds, Coach David Trembly has said, “Kurt is a versatile all-around athlete and team leader who pushes his teammates to improve.” A two-year starter at quarterback and in the defensive secondary, he is a two-time First Team All-Conference selection. As a senior he was a team captain and was named First Team All-State, and will play in the Wyoming-Nebraska 6-Man Shootout this summer. Kurt has also earned letters in wrestling, basketball, and track, and has been a team captain in wrestling and track. In 2014 he finished second in the 1A Pole Vault. Kurt has a 4.0 grade point average, scored a 26 on his ACT, and ranks 1st in a class of 9. He is a two-year member and President of the National Honor Society and has been a class representative in the Student Council as a sophomore, junior, and senior and was selected as a Prom and Homecoming attendant. Kurt was a recent Boys State Delegate and was elected to the office of Game and Fish Director. The recipient of WCA and WHSAA Scholastic Achievement Awards, he has been honored for his outstanding attendance and achievement in trigonometry and government. He has been the Riverton Ranger Student of the Week four times and the Kiwanis Club Student of the Month three times. Kurt has given back to his community as a volunteer for NHS and church youth group service projects and at the local food bank, book fair, Jump Rope for Heart, highway cleanup, and filling sandbags. He plans to attend the University of Wyoming where he will study Chemical Engineering. His proud parents are Kevin and Juleen Leseberg.
